Alvaro Verduzco, Multiverses focused on a singularity

Alvaro Verduzco presents the artwork Multiverses focused on a singularity (2017) ideal for the imagoRevolution project. The artist talks about his work: “I try to use a common image and dissect it to creat a work composed of many separate planes that conjure up one single concept, thereby questioning notions of collective and personal memories, fictions and drawing practice.”

Alvaro Verduzco is born in Mexico City in 1977.
Bachelor of fine arts for the national art college of the National University in Mexico (1997 – 2001) and a postgraduate diploma in Fine Arts for Goldsmiths University, University of London, UK.
The works uses drawing as the medium of excellence and his work has been shown across al five continents.
His work is housed in both public and private collections in Mexico, USA, and Argentina among others.
